The Carriage House is a family-owned and operated estate. In 2015, Walt and Laura Stinson held their wedding reception here and fell in love with the venue and the property. While sitting on the wrap-around back porch of the venue, they watched the sunset over the rolling hills and knew this was a place they wanted to grow their family.
A few years later, they purchased their dream home and with it The Carriage House. Now, this family business includes multiple generations with Laura’s mother Lisa serving as the Event Coordinator. She leads with a servant’s heart working with families to achieve their dream wedding. Lisa gives tours and gets to know each couple but her favorite part is celebrating their unique love story.
Serving as the Events Coordinator, I am the first point of contact for our couples and families and I work with them from the time they come to tour our venue right up until the wedding day. It is my job to help couples make their event uniquely theirs, and as stress-free as possible. My goal is to be versatile, accommodating, and offer them the opportunity to customize our beautiful venue so that their event reflects their vision. Communication is an important part of wedding planning so I make it a priority to be available to our couples and families. Our couples seem to appreciate our hands-on approach.
Knowing someone is right there with you on such an important day, to answer questions and take care of any little hiccups along the way, always seems to be much appreciated. I also work very closely with planners or coordinators and all the vendors chosen by our couples. Working together as a team helps ensure their day is exactly what they have envisioned!
